A little about me.
As a child I drew, as most kids do, and my happiest times at school were spent in the art class. However, I soon gave up any thoughts of a career in art, as there were many far more talented people around, and competition for jobs in that world was fierce. So apart from the odd sketch here and there, I gave up my pencils when I left school, and 'real life' took over.
Fast-forward more years than I wish to count, and a chance conversation about using my dog as a portrait subject had me reminiscing, and resulted in an invitation to join an Art Workshop. That was in December 2012, and as soon as I put pencil to paper, I knew I was hooked again. Huge thanks must go to Ginny for the invitation, and to Jan, our Tutor, for her endless patience!
